I currently own 1 Rolex (no date ceramic sub) and 2 Omegas (Tresor and Speedmaster). I have previously owned 2 other Rolexes and 3 other Omegas). While finish and overall quality vary from model to model, overall, I think they are of equal quality, though with different strengths and weaknesses.
As the owner of a couple of Rolex and Omega watches, I believe that Rolexes still offer the better value even at Grey prices. Let's get this out in the open. The Oysterquartz is also reassuringly chunky, coming in at 13.5mm thick and feeling just as weighty as a modern automatic sports watch.
