The Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow is definitly my favourite modern chronograph, taking best of both worlds : the vintage design inspiration and the modern specifications you can expect from a high end brand. The broad arrow hour hand, pointed minute hand, subdial hands, Omega logo/name, and applied indices are all blued. In direct sunlight, it’s a dark blue that pops due to how shiny and reflective they are. Each indice is a trapezoidal shape, giving it some extra surfaces to catch reflections. Initially, I wanted the straight black Speedmaster which I still find very attractive, but after looking around for a while, I found the Broad Arrow. Back in 2004, I purchased the classic cream dial Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow Model 3551.20.00. It was a watch that I very much enjoyed - the legendary Speedmaster lineage, an impressive self-winding mechanical chronograph movement, . I got this watch a month ago, my first omega and first mechanical chronograph. It's a model from 2007 that i bought as 'new old stock', it's kind of a homage to the original speedmaster of 1957: It's a speedmaster 'broad arrow' (Shape of the hour hand), it has a display case-back and the caliber 3313 inside.
