The guy in the store said probably because it has been polished..and over the years this happens. I recently purchased a Rolex from a regular jewelry store and the bezel was working. All of a sudden, sometime during the time I purchased it and now, the bezel won't move. Actually, it will still turn but it takes a LOT of force, and I do not wish to turn it any longer in order to avoid any further damages.
