The first thing I thought when I smelled it was, "This is something a young girl would wear." Poison Girl starts with fresh flowers and candied vanilla all at once. Dior Poison Girl Eau de Toilette introduces the iconic Poison perfume to a whole new generation of fragrance lovers. Francois Demachy crafted the EDT version to be lighter, brighter, yet undeniably Poison.
Poison Girl is every bit as hot pink as its juice, maybe even more so, and as you'd expect of something done in neon hot pink, it is not quiet about it. The rose-ish floral heart is sweet ("I thought about a sweet treat from my childhood in Grasse, where rose petals were soaked in sugar") 5 but not quite so sweet, or loud, as the opening. Dior dubs this a bitter yet sweet floral fragrance with a heart of bitter orange combined with a variety of different rose notes including Grasse and Damascus. Lyre’s American Malt is a non-alcoholic whiskey alternative. It is the first zero proof whiskey that I tested in my pursuit of finding a liquor free bourbon to use in mocktails. Ultimately, I’d love to find a zeroproof that tastes more like a legitimate whiskey and less like a bottle of tea or smoked water, but that may be too much to ask.
