If changes the appearance of the dial from flat black to iridescent electric blue, and everything between, depending on the angle and intensity of the incident light. I think it's a cool feature. My LV has a perfectly clear cyclops even when outside under blue skies. My new LN however has a blue tint to it both inside and out when viewed at an angle. Especially when reflecting outside. While comparing them i noticed that the cyclops are not the same: the GMT shows blue AR coating and a blue reflection on its cyclops, while the Sub shows brown AR and a brown reflection on its cyclops.

I'm surprised the AR coating reflects blue light in certain angles. I would equate a blue color with the now outdated coating used on camera lenses and binocular optics 30+ years ago. However the manufacturer may have intentionally colors .It should deliver a more constrasty view but it shouldn’t have too much of a blue tint. Unlike other watch brands, Rolex’s coating is only lightly tinted. Check the crispness of the bezel text

I finally picked up a Batman. but I noticed it doesn’t have a blue tint in the cyclops so no ARC? and the LEC confirms this. It’s a 2022 but I’ve seen both with and without. Can anyone confirm?
